Woven
Terms of Use
The agreement for using Woven: what you can expect from us, what we ask of you, and how membership works.

The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Peter Lindholm ("we", "us"), who publishes Woven. They cover the Woven app, its membership, and this website. By using Woven, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Woven comes from the App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to it too; these terms add to it. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your information.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 13 to use Woven. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian needs to agree to these terms for you, and is responsible for any purchase.
Membership and payment
Setting up is free: you photograph your first outfit and see your plan. After that, using Woven needs a membership, a yearly or monthly subscription, at the price the app shows before you pay. If a membership ends, your closet stays on your phone, and the rest waits until you renew.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your membership renews automatically, at the same length and the price then in effect, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple Account settings: on your iPhone, Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your membership lasts until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a membership. If you don't cancel before a trial ends, the membership it leads to starts and is charged.
- If a price changes, Apple tells you before it applies to you, and asks for your agreement where the law or Apple's rules require it.
- Apple handles every payment, so refunds are Apple's to give, under Apple's policies: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. This doesn't limit any right to a refund that the law gives you.
Deleting the app does not cancel a membership.
Fair use
A membership is for one person's own closet. To keep Woven affordable for everyone, there are limits on how often the AI features can be used each day and each month; they are far above what a person dressing themselves needs. Reaching one pauses that feature until it resets; it never costs extra.
Your closet and your photos
Your photos and everything in your closet are yours. They live on your phone, and we don't claim any ownership of them. When you use a feature that needs our AI, you let us send what it needs to our server and our AI provider, only to give you the answer, as the privacy policy describes.
Photograph only what you have the right to photograph, and please don't photograph other people without their permission. If you share an outfit card or a photo outside the app, you choose where it goes, and that place's rules apply.
Your closet is only on your phone. We can't see it, so we can't recover it: make a backup in Settings if you want to keep it safe.
What the AI says
Woven's suggestions are made by AI from what you own and what you tell it. They are ideas about getting dressed, not professional advice of any kind. The AI can be wrong: it may misread a colour, a fabric or a fit, misjudge the weather or an occasion, or say something that doesn't suit you. The weather comes from a forecast, and forecasts change. Use your own judgement before relying on a suggestion, especially for anything that matters to you, such as staying warm and dry.
The stylist sticks to clothes, and says it is an AI. If an answer is wrong, unkind or inappropriate, tap Report under it and tell us; we read every report.
Shopping and stores
Woven doesn't sell clothes. "Should I buy this?" and Discover's suggestions are opinions about how something would work with your closet; whether to buy is always your decision. Anything you buy, you buy from a store, under that store's terms: its prices, stock, sizes, delivery and returns are its own, and we aren't responsible for them or for the store's website.
Some links to stores may be affiliate links. If you buy something after following one, we may earn a commission from the store, at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we suggest or in what order: suggestions are ranked by how well a piece works with your closet, and nothing else.
Using it fairly
Please don't:
- use Woven for anything unlawful, or to upload anything unlawful, or anything you don't have the right to use;
- try to get around its limits or its membership, or share one membership among many people;
- call our server other than through the app, scrape it, overload it, or probe it for weaknesses (if you find one, please tell us instead; we're grateful);
- copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms;
- try to make the AI produce something harmful, or use what it says to mislead anyone.
If someone breaks these terms, we may stop their access to the AI features.
Our app
Woven, its name, design and software belong to us, and are licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's licence agreement and these terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without owing you anything for them; thank you.
Changes to the app
We keep improving Woven, so features may change, and some may be added or removed. If we ever stop offering Woven, we will say so in the app in advance, and your closet stays on your phone either way; a backup keeps it as a file you own.
Our responsibility to you
We work hard to make Woven good and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise it will always be available, free of errors, or right.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Woven; and our total liability to you for any claim about Woven is limited to the amount you paid for your membership in the 12 months before the claim.
Some places don't allow some of these exclusions or limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing here takes away the rights consumer law gives you where you live.
If you use Woven in breach of these terms or the law, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, as far as the law allows.
Apple
Apple asks every app's terms to say the following, and we agree:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Woven and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Woven. For support, see our support page.
- If Woven fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for the app, if any. To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Woven.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims you or anyone else has about Woven or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If anyone claims that Woven or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo, or designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them, Apple can enforce them against you.
Disagreements
If something goes wrong, please email pez2009goldfish@gmail.com first; most things can be put right quickly.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute that can't be resolved informally goes to the state and federal courts located in Massachusetts. If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose consumer law gives you the right to, you can also bring a claim in your local courts, and that law's protections still apply to you.
The rest
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce part of them straight away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to someone else; we may transfer ours if the app changes hands, and your rights under them stay the same. These terms, the privacy policy and Apple's licence agreement are the whole agreement between us about the app.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date, and if a change matters, the app will tell you before it applies. Using Woven after that means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can cancel your membership and stop using it. Last updated 2026-10-12.
