Answers to what people ask most, and how to reach us.
Membership
How do I cancel?
Memberships are run by Apple, so they're cancelled in your Apple Account: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Woven, and Cancel Subscription. You can also go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions, or, in Woven, Settings, then Membership, then Manage.
Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid paying for the next period. You keep your membership until the end of the period you paid for, and your closet stays on your phone either way. Deleting the app does not cancel a membership.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles every payment, so refunds are requested from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't see your payment or issue refunds ourselves.
I'm a member, but Woven asks me to join
In Woven, open Settings, and under Membership tap Restore purchases. Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the same Apple Account you joined with. If it still doesn't work, email us and we'll help.
Do I need a membership?
Yes. Setting up is free: you photograph one outfit and see your plan. After that, Woven is a membership, yearly or monthly, at the price shown in the app before you pay. If your membership ends, your closet is still there; the stylist and reading new photos come back when you renew.
Your closet
Sharing an outfit as a card
Open an outfit (Closet, then Outfits, then the outfit) and tap Share, or tap Share as a card under a photo in your Lookbook. Choose Moving, a few seconds in which the pieces come back one by one, or Still, a picture. Then a layout, a colour and, if you like, a caption. Share sends it wherever your phone shares to, or saves it to Photos.
The card is made on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, and it goes only where you send it.
Moving to a new phone
Your closet lives on your phone, not in an account, so it moves with a backup. In Woven, open Settings, then Backups, and tap Back up. Save the file to iCloud Drive or Files. On the new phone, install Woven, open Settings, then Backups, tap Restore and choose the file.
A backup includes any prices you've entered, so keep it somewhere private. Without one, we can't recover a closet: we never had a copy.
Deleting your data
In Woven, open Settings and tap Delete everything: every piece, photo, outfit and wear on the phone goes, and your settings with it. Deleting the app does the same. There's nothing on our server to delete, because it keeps nothing about you. Deleting doesn't cancel a membership; see above.
Turning off the AI
In Settings, under AI, switch it off, and nothing is sent to the AI. Your closet, outfits and wear history keep working, and new photos are read on your phone alone; the stylist and anything else that needs the AI wait until you switch it back on.
Locking Woven
In Settings, under Lock, switch on Lock with Face ID (on an iPhone without Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode).
Why does it ask for my location?
For the weather, so an outfit suits the day. It's optional. Your location is rounded to about ten kilometres on your phone and sent only to the weather service, never to us. You can turn it off in your iPhone's Settings.
What do I need?
An iPhone with iOS 18 or later. Woven needs the internet for reading photos and the stylist; your closet works without it.
